Hi, I’m Coreen.
I’m deeply passionate about helping people connect with themselves in more meaningful ways, uncover what’s holding them back, and move toward healing, growth, and greater clarity. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to face life’s challenges, and I work to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment.
My approach is grounded in the belief that lasting change happens through genuine connection—when you feel seen, heard, and supported just as you are. In our work together, I’ll meet you with kindness, patience, and respect, helping you navigate what’s difficult while also building on your strengths. Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, navigating life transitions, or working to better understand yourself, I’m here to support you in creating a life that feels more aligned and authentic to you.
It’s a privilege to walk alongside my clients on their healing journeys, and I consider it an honor to hold space for your unique story.
My Background & Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with specialized training in several evidence-based and compassion-focused approaches to therapy. My work is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and a humanistic, person-centered lens. I also incorporate somatic awareness and mindfulness-based practices to support clients in gently connecting with their emotions, bodies, and inner experiences in the present moment. I tailor my approach to each individual client—taking into account your unique story, identity, and what feels most supportive for where you are in your healing process.
I’ve completed advanced trainings in ACT for depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as IFS for treating trauma. I also bring a shame-informed perspective to my work with clients struggling with body image and disordered eating, and have pursued additional training in attachment theory and relational dynamics. These learnings, along with a wide range of other continuing education experiences, help me integrate depth, flexibility, and empathy into every session.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in your capacity to grow, heal, and reconnect with your most authentic self—with the support of a safe, collaborative therapeutic relationship.
